I am Loro, Visual Artist. Born in Mexico City.
I have worked in the Animation and Motion Graphics industry making all kind audiovisual projects for many years.
In photography I have found a recreational space that I use as an escape from daily work routine that is overwhelming sometimes.
I'm fascinated by discovering forms designed by nature and a big question arises from here:
How insects perceive shapes and colors? How do they perceive flowers and plants with those amazing eyes in infinite forms? We may never know that, but I want to get as close as I can.
I discovered that a macro lens is a door to smaller dimensions than ours and if illuminate subjects with ultraviolet light, details that we would not see with the naked eye can be perceived in a very colorful way with the help of color grading tools. I want to share with you my perception and the result of that exploration trip.
